Johnson Health Tech UK is the proud fitness equipment partner of Derby County Football Club and has supplied ‘The Rams’, with gym equipment for Derby County’s first team as well as their Academy players, for use at their Academy, Moor Farm, a purpose-built complex situated near the city suburb of Oakwood.

Matrix fitness equipment installed at Moor Farm is used for strength and conditioning work, as well as for rehabilitation programmes for injured players. The equipment includes treadmills specially adapted to lessen joint impact and functional training equipment designed to strengthen the core muscles and the synergistic muscle groups not normally strengthened during match training.

“The gym equipment supplied by Johnson has enabled us to improve our rehabilitation of injured players by allowing us to be more functional and specific to the demands of football. In addition to reducing the length of time it takes to rehab a player, we feel the equipment will play a pivotal role in limiting the number of injuries sustained this season.”
